Into the Score- Control Freak

“After a stressful night working on her computer, a tired young woman discovers herself to really be her own worst enemy.”

This was produced by Wasp Land Films and featured mirrored filming techniques that had to be represented with the score also. All of the film is based in a singular space, the feeling of claustrophobia and high stress had to be reflected in the main character Holly. This score is mainly sound design and a lot of detail went into the aggression and build of underlined tension found in the character. There is a playful theme to the character also so it was important to highlight a sense of innocence with Holly during certain scenes. There is a lot of weird and twisted low textures in the music so if you have a subwoofer that might be a shout! I had great fun composing this score and I hope you enjoy it too!
